wow, Lebron James and the Cavs won 4 in a row to beat the favourites for Eastern Conference Finals, Detroit Pistons, and they are heading into the NBA finals since very long ago.
i didn't quite expect this result, and i thought the Pistons would at least win this game 6 to send the series back to their homecourt. i think they focussed too much on defending James, as a result allowing Daniel Gibson to have a show in this game. however, who would have expected someone else from the Cavaliers other than James to play big in the game, especially when the other Cavaliers have been having poor performances in the 1st 5 games of the series?
too bad that Pistons lost this game, as well as the series. they had the correct strategy but things just dun go well for them.
the NBA Finals between the Spurs and the Cavaliers shouldn't be a very tight one. i think that the Cavs are still not there yet. they are still relying on James alone usually. only in some games, the other Cavs players may come out big, but they are not reliable. unlike the Cavs, the Spurs have reliable contributions from Duncun, Parker, Ginobili. Finley, Barry, Oberto may give this team some extra spurts, and they have all shown that they can hit big shots as well. whereas, the Cavs do not have other players who can hit big shots.
predicting a 4-1 or 4-2 win by the Spurs for the NBA Finals. but things may turn around for the Cavs, especially when this is the 1st Finals for the Cavs for at least 10 yrs i think. and the audience as well as the players are all thirsty for the trophy. emotions is really a big thing in such a crucial series.
